Her Courage Speaks is more than a speaking event. It's a personal story session celebrating every woman's strength, passion, and voice, designed to uplift and empower, one motivational talk and healthy lifestyle choice at a time.

Events aim to foster a supportive community and to leave attendees feeling inspired, motivated, and equipped with courage to pursue their dreams and overcome adversity.

Our stories are a powerful testament to resilience and the human spirit. From inspiring intimate groups to speaking at workplaces or conferences, our presentations are deeply moving as we combine our individual personal journeys with practical wisdom to promote wellbeing, connection, and team building to whomever we speak.

We believe our ability to connect with an audience and convey profound messages of hope and determination make us invaluable speakers for any event. With the option to add live dance workshops (if interested).

Who Are We?

Michelle and Carol first met 10 years ago when Carol’s children joined Michelle’s dance classes.

It wasn’t long before Carol herself became a regular in the adult classes. They began collaborating on marketing and branding for the club, and their relationship quickly blossomed into a deep friendship. Michelle and Carol have supported each other through both their darkest challenges and celebrated their greatest wins. Together, they are the empowering female force every woman needs and are excited to combine strengths & share the lessons they’ve learned on their journeys.

Michelle Emery

I'm a passionate dance teacher whose life took a dramatic turn after a devastating accident crushed my legs.

Through resilience and determination, I transformed my pain into purpose, using my story to uplift and empower others.

Today, I share my journey through motivational speaking events and dance classes, creating a space for women to connect, heal and find strength in their own stories.

My mission is to inspire women to embrace self-love, overcome challenges and discover the power of community.

I also aim to improve mental health and wellness in the work place through my story of resilience, emphasizing how vital movement is for mental health and performance. By connecting people through fun and engaging dance experiences, I show how incorporating movement can reduce stress, boost energy and enhance overall workplace productivity.

Carol Beaumont

Reasonably fresh to public speaking, my aim is not to present myself as an expert but as a relatable mum with a powerful story to share — a personal story that I hope will resonate with others and inspire them to find strength in their own lives.

In my talks, I open up about my raw experiences with an alcoholic loved one, the discovery of neurodivergence in my son and later in myself, and my ongoing experiences with body image, weight fluctuations, and the path to self-love and acceptance. With a strong background in corporate marketing and events, I approach each speaking opportunity with humility and a genuine desire to connect with my audience.

I believe that authentic connection comes from sharing our vulnerabilities and I hope to offer not just inspiration but practical insights that help others navigate their own challenges, let go of ideas that aren’t serving you and trust that every experience you go through is making you the best version of who you are meant to be.
